"The point is to change it"
How theory and practice meet in social activism.
Forum on July 9th, 2011

Hungarian society is in crisis. Racism, increasing exclusion, poverty, unemployment, violence, environmental pollution and the lack of real democracy are all a part of our everyday lives. There are many who think that the prevailing economic and social system is not sustainable.

How would a just, democratic and sustainable Hungary based on egalitarian principles look like, and what should we do to achieve it?

Join us at an activist forum, where we will discuss what possibilities are opened up by the crises of capitalism, and how we are able to create a more just society with the help of David Harvey’s co-(r)evolutionary theory.

Who do we expect?
Organizations, groups and activists who are actively organizing for the transformation of social, economic, political or personal relations, and who are interested in broad cooperation to achieve another Hungary.

Registration is obligatory! (You can register here.)
Registration deadline: 5 July 2011.
